Plant in a pot, only upside-down

10 November 2008 One Comment

This upside down plant was designed by Patrick Morris in his final year at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, London and it won him the UK New Designers award. How has this been designed? It has a unique system that requires the plant to be watered only once or twice a month, contains a watering system and holds the soil together. It takes up no space and has totally changed the way a plant is grown.
